A new anti-abortion group, called the Collaborators Project, has given The Weitz Company, a billion-dollar construction firm, a deadline of January 31, 2008, to stop constructing a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Denver. “If Weitz does not cease from constructing this abortion facility by January 31st,” said the Collaborators Project founder Will Duffy, “we will designate their firm with Permanent Collaborator Status.” According to the organization, such status means that pro-lifers will expand the typical targets of protests, from abortion mills and abortionist homes, to include residential picketing of executives and business sites of any organization designated with Permanent Collaborator Status.

“Colorado RTL, the nation’s oldest right-to-life organization, and the largest anti-abortion group in Colorado, will commit itself to honor Permanent Collaborator Status,” said Joe Riccobono, the group’s president. “This means that for as many years as Planned Parenthood is killing children in the building prepared by Weitz, we will plan protests, and encourage our members statewide to include Weitz executives’ homes and select construction and sales sites as part of the decades’ long, routine protest of abortion.”

Colorado RTL justifies its proposed Weitz project to help the group implement the second of a new, nationally recognized three-prong strategy to end abortion.

1. Criminalize: recriminalize the intentional killing of the unborn and other innocents through state and national personhood efforts.

2. Demoralize: create unbearable social tension to coerce the government to correct the injustice of shedding innocent blood.

3. Evangelize: persuade individuals by education and evangelism to honor the God-given right to life.

Colorado Right To Life will start promoting its own Weitz protest to its working list of 22,600 Colorado pro-lifers on February 1, 2008 if the Collaborators Project designates the Des Moines Iowa-based Weitz with Permanent Collaborator Status.

Here’s what’s coming next upon Weitz as of February 1, 2008:

Permanent Status: The Collaborator’s Project has determined that The Weitz Company will obtain Permanent Collaborator Status on January 31, 2008. I have committed my life to recruiting people, initially in Colorado, but then in Des Moines and elsewhere, to protest the homes of Weitz officials, both current and future executives, and to protest select subcontractors and high-dollar building sites, and to be at your homes as allowed by law through the year. We will protest especially on every major holiday, and we will continue for as many years as Planned Parenthood kills children in the facility you are preparing. Is the money you make on this deal, or the damage to your pride if you pull out, a worthwhile price to pay for the next twenty years of targeted abortion protests.

January 31, 2008: We will not allow Weitz to mostly complete the project, and then make a pretend gesture of quitting the job, in hopes of manipulating the protesters into quitting. We expect that Weitz and Planned Parenthood exaggerated to the media the length of the project, so that even if we succeed in slowing down the construction by a couple months, they can still claim to have finished on time. Therefore, we have determined that Weitz will have crossed the line of no return by February 1, 2008. Unless you pull out and stop all work on this child-killing facility by January 31st, we will designate Weitz with Permanent Collaborator Status.

50,000 Arrests: My inspiration comes from those who have spent decades of their lives to stop an injustice. In 1989 when I was six, a handful of Colorado pro-lifers met outside Denver’s main abortion mill and determined to launch a five-day-a-week protest there for as many years as Planned Parenthood is there killing kids, and they have missed less than ten days in almost twenty years. My inspiration comes from the medical students who refuse to become abortionists because of the decades of relentless abortion home protests. ● What will you tell the future executives who interview you about the quality of life working for Weitz?

● You have no advertising banners at your abortion site, but will you and your subs advertise at future sites?

● When prime customers request bids on their biggest contracts, what will you offer them to offset the abortion protests you will bring to their job site and sales offices?

● Have you done market analysis to determine if high-end customers for condos, retirement communities, business facilities, golf courses, will be as eager to buy and lease properties that come with targeted abortion protests?

● Have you done the risk management analysis in-house, or have you hired a consultant, to assess our ability to fulfill the long-term commitment of designating Weitz with Permanent Collaborator Status and its impact?

● Have you considered the loss of value to Weitz stockholders and potential lawsuits for reckless disregard of virtually certain negative impact on the Weitz name and future business? Have you considered the audio recordings we have made of every phone call and meeting, and the paper trail of every letter and email, that we will provide to any such plaintiff?

● By the year 2010, as Weitz realizes what Permanent Collaborator Status means, will full disclosure laws require you to notify your biggest prospects of the attendant abortion protests coming both during and after construction?

● In which industry publications will you present your case, that The Weitz Company brings more than just abortion protests to their jobs?

Do you realize the consequences of this new Planned Parenthood? Right now, about 100 women change their mind at the Planned Parenthood at 20th and Vine each year and do not go through with their scheduled abortions.

The sidewalk counselors at 20th and Vine, who are present each day that facility kills little children, help save the lives of about 100 kids each year. This is a huge victory and one that may not be possible
if we allow this new facility to be built.

They know about our success and surely will do whatever they can to prevent us from convincing these women to change their mind. This is proof that they’re not really pro-choice. If they were really pro-choice, they would rejoice with us that those 100 women made the “choice” that they thought was the right thing for them to do.

The lack of effort by the pro-life community could mean that 100 kids who we may help to see life outside the womb, will be forever lost at the hands of a butcher. This reality needs to sink in and we need to
work as hard as we can for the next 9 months to stop this thing.

This is unacceptable and they need to hear about it. They have eternal souls as well, and not only do we want them to stop helping enable Planned Parenthood, but we want to make sure they get saved as well.

Please don’t underestimate the power of your phone calls. The last sub-contractor to leave the job site, mentioned one particular phone call his office received, from a medical doctor in Ohio! That phone call stuck in his mind, and I believe, eventually led to his departure.

Please call Big R today. Let them know how they are helping to one day destroy lives, women, families, and a beautiful neighborhood. Beg them to leave the job site or forever be known as one who helped build America’s largest death camp.

One sub in particular has worked for over 2 months and has not received a penny in payment. I guess if Weitz is willing to lie to everyone, including their own workers, they have no problem not paying them either.

I’m extremely upset at their lies, how they’re treating their subs, and how dedicated they are to do their part in the killing of innocent children. I’ve been told by a very reliable source that the President of the Weitz Company, Bill Hornaday, is a Christian. I don’t think so. I know a Christian when I see one, and Christians don’t build death camps.

Pro-Life Family Group to Reveal New Abortion HQ Duplicity

DENVER, Nov. 30 /Christian Newswire/ — Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood will join Joe and Eric Scheidler of Chicago’s Pro-Life Action League on Saturday, December 1st to rally in support of life.

The group will reveal the recent troubles of Planned Parenthood’s new abortion facility in Denver, and announce their upcoming plans for the mega abortion center.

CFAPP and the Scheidlers will hold a press conference on Saturday, December 1, at 10:30am at 7155 E 38th Avenue in Denver, the future site of the Headquarters of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. The press conference will address the issues of the troubled facility.

“Both in Aurora, Illinois and here in Colorado, Planned Parenthood has not been forthright with their plans,” stated Jennifer Viaes, of Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood. “Subcontractors are stunned when they learn that they are working on an abortion center. Construction workers and the local community have a right to know the truth - and that’s not something they’ll get at Planned Parenthood.”

“I will never work on a Planned Parenthood ever again. It’s just too controversial,” one subcontractor told CFAPP representatives. More information will be released at the press conference.

Immediately following the press conference, a rally will commence to uncover Planned Parenthood and The Weitz Company’s apparent deceit. Supporters will gather in support of the efforts against Planned Parenthood and rally in defense of preborn babies.

The press release included facts about Planned Parenthood, emphasizing that Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains reported 8,800 abortions last year alone.

“We, the Catholic bishops of Colorado, deplore the negative impact of the actions and philosophy of PPRM ,” the bishops continued, urging the community to “defend themselves and their beliefs against Planned Parenthood by every legal and ethical means at their disposal.”

Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood commends Archbishop Chaput, Bishop Tafoya, and Bishop Sheridan for their forthright defense of children, whether pre-born or pre-teen, harmed by Planned Parenthood.

Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood notes that people of faith working for The Weitz Company and any subcontractors building the new abortion facility should stand up for their beliefs at work.

Building a new, more convenient place for babies to be killed carries culpability parallel to that of the people doing the killing. However, the benefit of refusing to work on such a project would produce eternal value, as lives would be saved every day that the facility’s opening is delayed.

Demolition and construction permits were applied for by Weitz in the name of United Airlines Inc. The City of Denver then granted permits based upon the falsified applications, effectively granting permits for the building of an abortion clinic to United Airlines! UAL is the former owner of the city block that is slated to become Planned Parenthood’s new 52,000 square foot abortion headquarters.

In a Wednesday phone call, a United Airlines employee in Corporate Real Estate claimed no knowledge of the Planned Parenthood facility or of the permits pulled in their name. Indeed, their sale of that property was completed on January 11, 2007.“This is just another example of the under-handed dealings of Planned Parenthood and The Weitz Company,” stated Keith Mason, of Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood. “Sub-contractors have told us that they didn’t even know this would be an abortion facility, much less the largest one in the nation.”

Haynes Mechanical Services, a company contracted to work on the facility, and told Colorado Families Against Planned Parenthood that they, also, were unaware that they were working for Planned Parenthood. Representatives of Haynes Mechanical Services claimed the building was a United Airlines Call Center.

An October 29th article in the Rocky Mountain News featured quotes from The Weitz Company’s Senior Vice President Gary Meggison. In the article, Meggison claimed that he has been “up front with subcontractors on the project about its controversial nature.”

“We’re not surprised that the abortion industry would be so deceptive,” continued Mason. “We are surprised that The Weitz Company is putting their reputation and credibility on the line to collaborate with Planned Parenthood.”

On Friday afternoon as the employees left work at The Weitz Company, they were met with images that show the reality of what the new abortion super center that they are building will produce. Pro-Lifers displayed pictures of aborted babies, similar to those that will be killed in the facility The Weitz Company is contracted to build, if they build it.

Construction Company ‘Digs in Their Heels’ to Build New Planned Parenthood Abortion Facility

Denver, Colorado - Today pro-life activists met with the heads of The Weitz Company, discussing the new Planned Parenthood abortion facility that Weitz is contracted to build in Denver, Colorado.
Displaying a surprising allegiance to the abortion industry, Bill Hornaday, President of The Weitz Company Rocky Mountain, has refused to reconsider building the largest Abortion Facility in the United States.
In the private meeting, Hornaday indicated that money is not the prime motivator for building the new Planned Parenthood.
“The ideals of The Weitz Company are worse than we thought,” said Keith Mason, of the Keep Peace in Stapleton Project. “If they are not building this superstructure for money, are they building it out of a desire to facilitate the murder of innocent children?”
Gary Meggison, Senior Vice President of The Weitz Company Rocky Mountain, is a member of the Catholic church. Neighbors of Vice President Don Gendall claim that he is a “strong Christian”.
“The bottom line is that followers of Christ would not be a part of this heinous business,” continued Mason. “A true Christian would do what is necessary to save the lives of innocent children.”
The brief meeting, attended also by Senior Vice President Gary Meggison, revealed an obvious disdain for women and children. Meggison not only refused to view documents of Planned Parenthood’s reported child rape cover-ups (under investigation by Kansas’ and Indiana’s attorneys general), but also the facts of their multi-million dollar baby killing business.
“These heartless men are contributing to the exploitation of women and the deaths of millions of children,” stated Jennifer Viaes of Keep Peace in Stapleton Project. “It is clear that The Weitz Company is determined to be a part of the abortion industry, no matter the cost.”
After Meggison left the meeting, Hornaday acknowledged that the protests of his employee’s homes are par for the course.
“We are continuing to keep these executives in our prayers, in hope that they will not build this modern-day Auschwitz. We must pray that they do the right thing,” Keith Mason, Keep Peace in Stapleton.
